Founded in 1994 by Gary Keller, MAPS Coaching<\/a> currently has more than 250 MAPS coaches<\/em> and BOLD coaches<\/em> in the United States alone. Its mission is to transform lives and businesses through training and coaching<\/em> – in this division it believes in the resources of each individual and bets on partnership relationships. It identifies itself as a community of leaders and its members strive for excellence in everything they do. <\/p>\n\n

Led by Jo\u00e3o Paleta, in Portugal the operation will be responsible for the Breakthrough and Mastery Coaching programs for Top Real Estate Producers, numerous thematic group coaching<\/em> programs and the BOLD program, one of the most prestigious personal development programs in the world.<\/p>\n\n

Marco Tairum, chief executive officer (CEO) of Keller Williams Portugal, says: “MAPS Coaching<\/em> has two main areas: coaching<\/em> (individual or group) and BOLD. BOLD was even the first tool we imported. Launched in 2009 in the United States, it was designed to work on the mindset of <\/em>consultants. Five years later, KW was leading the market. In Portugal, we believe we are experiencing a similar moment – we have just come out of the first major cycle reversal since the last crisis; with the pandemic there was a first period of decline, followed by a huge acceleration, giving mediation its best years in 2021 and 2022. Last year was marked by the biggest decrease in real estate transactions since 2014, but we were able to maintain our turnover. As a result, we believe that the conditions are in place to add the full MAPS Coaching value proposition.” <\/p>\n\n

Globally, the BOLD program has more than 150,000 students. In Portugal, it was launched in 2017, also by Jo\u00e3o Paleta. A determining factor for Keller Williams, the BOLD program comprises seven weeks of transformation aimed at boosting results, increasing productivity and creating habits of thought and action geared towards success. <\/p>\n\n

Also included in the MAPS division, the Breakthrough and Mastery Coaching programs aim to raise the productivity and performance levels of consultants. They use unique methodologies and company-specific models. <\/p>\n\n

“This year’s goals include launching a new version of the BOLD program, reaching more than 1,000 students and hiring five new MAPS coaches<\/em> to serve consultants and leaders,” explains Jo\u00e3o Paleta, CEO of this division. “Our plans for 2024 also include organizing multiple Mastermind sessions for Top Producers.” <\/p>\n\n

For more than two decades in the real estate sector, Jo\u00e3o Paleta was the first BOLD coach<\/em> outside the United States and Canada. With a degree in Business Management, he has a vast curriculum of training in topics related to sales, leadership, coaching<\/em> and communication. <\/p>\n\n

Keller Williams<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Founded in North America in 1983 by Gary Keller and Joe Williams, Keller Williams is the largest global training, coaching<\/em> and technology company specializing in real estate. With 40 years of history, it entered Portugal 10 years ago through the hands of Nuno Ascens\u00e3o and Eduardo Garcia e Costa. It is currently the third network operating in Portugal. <\/p>\n\n

With a strong DNA of growth, training and culture, KW develops based on the philosophy that “people are the most important thing in an organization”, placing real estate consultants at the center of all decisions: there is a clear commitment to continuous training and coaching<\/em>, which is Keller Williams’ genetic heritage and is what drives its culture of abundance; there is a real concern with developing the personal growth of its associates, making them aware of the importance of giving back to the communities in which they operate.<\/p>\n\n
